    Name of your website?

    The Bass Coach

    Your name?

    Cliff Master

    Your Location (city, etc)

    Cooperstown

Please give us a short summary of your website?

All about bass and bass fishing. Bass fishing tips, reviews and news on bass fishing

What inspired you to launch your own website?

    I love to bass fish

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

    2001 called Field-N-Water.Com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I like to teach people to bass fish and being in Cooperstown NY with all the baseball stuff, I decided to be the bass coach instead of being a baseball coach

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We have everything a bass angler could want. Everything from tips, to news to bass fishing tackle is on the site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep people coming. To make the site bigger then it is now.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It doesnt, I just love what I do, so it pays for itself that way.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would start advertising via radio and TV.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

    Yes, not a problem

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Costs are small, but site updates and admin responsibilities is another story.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Keeping high ranking with google. It's like a roller coaster. One month I'm in the top 10, the next I'm on page 100

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Good old fashion SEO. Content is king.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Let me think about it. Um,.... Good question.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

1 year and it is here to stay.

How many sites do you own total

    7 websites to date.

    What is your website address?

    http://thebasscoach.com
