What inspired you to launch your own website?
I once worked in a garden center and found many people wanted a garden but knew nothing about it. They were afraid to even try and needed someone to hold their hand.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
In the year 2000.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It was simple but descriptive of what I wanted.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I don't sell anything directly, though I have ads.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it as hobby.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I find satisfaction from people who e-mail with questions.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would make it more professional and comprehensive

Not likely to happen.

It has continued much longer than I would have thought.

It has been up since early 2000 and will continue as long as I am still interested.
